Can anyone help. I get the following error, I've added codec to my Linux OS but while using Firefox to login to my Hik Vision camera IP I get No plugin detected.

In the suppliers help I get works with Windows and Firefox 52 and above.

I'm on Linux Pop OS using Firefox 81.0.2 (64-bit)

Do you know what Plugin it is trying to run? Firefox 53-82 only supports the Flash plugin; it doesn't run manufacturers' proprietary plugins.

Thanks for responding. no it just says download the plugin but it's referring to windows only.

How do I check I have the latest flash plugin?

That doesn't sound very promising if their only download is for Windows (DLL file).

For Flash, you could try Adobe's test page here:
