I have Mibbit as the default irc

Hello all and I hope everyone is safe in this pandemic world! In my Applications and in my profile directory, I have Mibbit as the default irc and it comes up everytime I reinstall firefox. I think that this is strange, mibbit is for old crooners isn't it? I would think that FF has advanced! I would like to not see it when I reinstall firefox, is this possible

I also have an installed plugin Shock wave Flash...did I install this or does it come from FF?

thank you,

The (NPAPI) Flash Player Plugin (old name Shockwave Flash) is from Adobe https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ as it is not provided by Mozilla or the Firefox web browsers. Since you are using a Ubuntu Linux distro the Flash Plugin may have been installed in your package manager.

Adobe is in process of completely discontinuing all support of their Flash Player Plugin at end of 2020 and few websites still make use of it now and have since changed to say HTML5 players for video, audio and games to be more cross platform when Flash was more limited.
