calendar: select and move multiple events at one time

more options

by trial and error, i have discovered that ctl-click will allow me to select multiple events in the calendar. (is there a better way to do this?)

after selecting multiple events, i want to move all of them en masse to another day. i assumed that i could simply click and drag any of the selected events and they would all move but this does not happen - only the single event that i click moves even while multiple events remain selected (indicated by their change in color).

is there a way for me to move multiple currently selected events to another day?

thanx for your help!

Chosen solution

If Events & Tasks/Find Events is enabled, copying multiple events from the events pane with Ctrl+C, and pasting them on another day with Ctrl+V, works here. Press Alt if the Menu Bar with Events & Tasks is hidden.

thanx sfhowes - that approach does work!

i played around some more and discovered that multiple events can be moved from one day to another by using ctl-click to select multiple events then ctl-x to cut them from their current day then ctl-v to paste them into a new day. this works even if the events pane is not enabled. previously i was trying to drag-n-drop multiple selected events but that doesn't work (i think this capability should be added to t-bird).
