After a recent update (not sure which one, my current version: 68.12.1 (32-bit) ), I started noticing that on each computer reboot (which using Windows 10, I need pretty regularly, because of updates) that all but a few email tabs that I kept open (very old emails, btw) are no longer kept open. This feature is pretty important to me to allow me to review emails then if necessary reply when I can get to it. Typically, there are anywhere from 10 - 30 emails that are left open. The problem being is that I "lose" the email, because I cannot remember and locating the email in my inbox become difficult as that inbox accumulates more email.

Any fixes for this issue? Thank you, Chuck Belanger

The set of tabs open at exit are stored in session.json in the profile folder. If it isn't being read after reboot, I suspect an app like CCleaner, which can affect TB in undesirable ways, is resetting the json file every reboot. If that's not the case on your system, delete or rename session.json (Help/Troubleshooting, Profile Folder, Open Folder, close TB, edit the file), and see if the open tabs are retained between TB restarts, and reboots.

Thank you, SFHowes! Turns out I had CCleaner, but uninstalling did not correct the issue. Deleting the session.json file did. Able to confirm that closing and reopening TB and rebooting both retained the open emails.
