I mistakenly clicked on the compact now button when I opened my email box and now all of my sent emails are missing. I can search by keyword and they will appear, but my sent folder is completely empty. How do I restore these to my folder please? Thank you.

If you search them with global search (ctrl + shift + F) in which folder (location) those mails appear - on sent?

How is that account set - pop or imap?
