Newest Update to FF for Android
What in the name of all things Holy was the team who wrote the update to the Android for Firefox smoking when they posted the newest updates? They took a familiar UI on my tablet and turned it into a study on how to remove any hint of intuitive. It has become a study in ponderous and how to add additional steps to simple activities. For example, there is only one tab visible at a time, and switching between even just two tabs takes an extra step or two..and really, there are no tabs anymore. A separatepop-up window??? Really? That was supposed to be better? Are all the programmers in rehab?
I can understand that, on a phone, simplicity is sometimes required, but the same interface for a tablet is just the most ignorant thing I have seen in my 35+ years of computing. When I was teaching and built a computer lab in a junior high school in the early 80's, the Commodore Vic20s we used were more intuitive than the new Android FF.
The best way to describe the new version would be: "Looks like Mozilla.org if finally trying to rid itself of Android users so they can dump it all together and write it off on their taxes."
The creators of this version should all be sentenced to one year of nothing but Windows 3.0 on a 386 PC with no posobility of parole..

Hi,
The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.
If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.
