Is it possible to forward/rewind video in picture-in-picture mode using keyboard shortcuts?

Currently there is only a pause and play function in picture-in-picture mode. Is there any keyboard shortcut to rewind/forward the video? Or is there any way to add these controls for PIP mode?

Note that you can also add a mute/unmute button to the PiP window.

  • about:config => media.videocontrols.picture-in-picture.audio-toggle.enabled = true

There are some bug reports about adding additional features to the PiP window, but there is not much progress.

  • Bug 1592291 - Re-use HTML5 video controls for Picture-in-Picture player window
  • Bug 1579645 - Feature Request: Add playhead scrubber to Picture in Picture player window
