Hi twm12, on Chromebook, you would be running one of the versions of Firefox for Android. There isn't a "desktop" version of Firefox for Chromebook.
Why are looking for a library button -- are you looking for bookmarks, history, or downloads?
Hi, thanks, switching to Android Firefox (68) did not help. I know what it should look like because I have Firefox on my wife's windows pc, and it allows bookmarks sidebar there. Please advise,

Unfortunately, you cannot compare Firefox for Android and Firefox for Windows. As far as I know, the Android version doesn't have the ability to display a sidebar.
What did you have before you installed Firefox for Android? Does Firefox for Linux run on Chromebook? The "desktop" version of Firefox on Linux should be quite similar to Windows, except that some of the menu items are named differently.
