No Today Pane

I got a new computer (Windows 10) and downloaded TB 78.0.1. Unfortunately, there is no Today Pane on the right side of the screen, and there is no option to add it. I have gone through the menus and found nothing. Search results in Help and via Google refer to earlier TB versions.

Chosen solution

Strangely, adding a local calendar enabled the Today Pane. The option finally appeared in the View menu.
