I recently downloaded the latest version of Thunderbird. I use Adress Book Advance Search occasionally, it is in the same place as before & brings up a similar window but will not allow me to enter data. Have the procedures changed, is there a manual on this or can someone offer a solution.

So you are using version 78? I am using version 78 on a mac and have not seen this problem.

That said, next week 78.1 will have some addressbook fixes. Please test that and report back.

Confirmed, in TB 78.0.1/32-bit/W10, Edit/Find/Search Addresses allows input, but clicking Search does nothing. Search within Address Book works. Problem exists with profile created new with 78, and also in safe mode.
