destination folder
Hi. I'd like to know if thunderbird has the same option as outlook. When I need to move an email from one folder to another, I'd like to just type the name of the destination folder on the search bar, instead of right-click and go through all the options

Options using menus, keyboard shortcuts and drag 'n' drop
- Right click and select 'Move to' and select folder
OR
- Alt + M + M and select folder
If you want to move another email to same folder.
- Right click > 'Move to xfolder again', which speeds it up somewhat.
OR
- Ctrl+Shift+M
You could use the conventional method of drag and drop.
- Left click on email in list and hold down then you drag to hover over folder in Folder Pane, then release mouse to drop email into that folder.
If you always put certain email from specific addresses into a dedicated folder then you could create a Message Filter which filters the email when it is downloaded from server and auto moves it.
EG: I have a folder called 'Family' and a 'Message Filter' that scans for specific email addresses and auto moves the email on download.
