Synching laptop and PC in thunderbird

My laptop and PC Thunderbird are not totally synched. I started out on my laptop and then added my PC. All my folders synched but not all my addresses. Both PC and laptop are imap.

To sync the contacts, you need an add-on like TbSync. Contacts can be manually copied between computers by exporting and importing (Tools/Export... and Tools/Import...).

TBsync gave me a message that this file does not have an app associated with it. It never went to the install part.
