Just started aborting startup, icon bouncing 58 seconds on first try, only for 5 seconds on additional tries. Fails every time, I don't know of any contributing system change, OSX 10.13.6 Unique bug report item, not found in database search: MozCrashReason: !gCacheData: untouched

Had no account to receive automated bug report response.

Downloaded a fresh copy and installed in dedicated folder, new copy runs but doesn't find my data, hope it's still intact.

Look in the ~/Library/Thunderbird/Crash Reports/submitted folder for text files named bp-..... and post the names of the last few files, e.g. bp-02c5c281-1997-4758-ac4f-9074d0180910

This matches to bug report https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1276488

It won't help with this particular crash, but you know your version of Thunderbird is a few months out of date?

I had mentioned previously that I downloaded and installed the latest Thunderbird in a separate directory, It runs fine, but doesn't see and existing data.

I didn't go any further, hoping not to wipe the existing accounts and messages the crashed version had.
