Something keeps deleting all my tabs and pinned tabs about once every two weeks, so How do I PERMANENTLY save my pinned tabs?
Would like a way to save the pinned and other tabs I have open in someplace, so when they get deleted I don't have to rummage thru last months History and dig out each one over again. A simple "Save this layout with date and name" somewhere would be great.

Thanks for the fast reply.
I had slightly different selections when I right clicked the one tab, there was no "Bookmark All Tabs" available. So I just chose Select All Tabs and then right click again on the selected tabs and chose Bookmark Tabs and then add a name and date for folder name and saved to Bookmarks Menu. Now I have just what I wanted but could not figure out how to do.
As to what is causing my "disappearing tabs" I think it happens when I access Firefox from outside the browser. I opened a link to Garmin Express this morning, it went to firefox and opened the site. When I next opened up Firefox, that was the only tab left. I could not recover the other tabs from that point on.
So will hopefully avoid this way of opening anymore, and use my backup tabs in Bookmark Menu to rebuild if I mess up.
thanks again, appreciate it.

Profile data can be removed or not recorded in several ways;
- 1) Running Firefox in Private Mode (nothing is recorded)
- 2) Privacy settings; (In the address bar,
type about:preferences#privacy<enter>) - 3) Many disk cleaners and anti-virus type programs can remove data from browsers. Open their settings and have them leave the browsers alone.
- 4) Mal-ware.

Open all of the tabs you want to save in a window. Right-click on one tab and select:
Bookmark All Tabs and save then to a newly created bookmarks folder. Make sure to give that folder
a proper name.

You can possibly save a backup copy of sessionstore.jsonlz4 in the profile folder. This file is only present when Firefox is closed.
You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
- Help -> Troubleshooting Information -> Profile Folder/Directory:
Windows: Open Folder; Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data
You will normally find these files in the sessionstore-backups folder:
- previous.jsonlz4 (cleanBackup: copy of sessionstore.jsonlz4 from previous session that was loaded successfully)
- recovery.jsonlz4 (latest version of sessionstore.jsonlz4 written during runtime)
- recovery.baklz4 (previous version of sessionstore.jsonlz4 written during runtime)
- upgrade.jsonlz4-<build_id> (backup created during an upgrade of Firefox)
You can copy a file from the sessionstore-backups folder to the main profile and rename the file to sessionstore.jsonlz4 to replace the current file (make sure to backup the current sessionstore.jsonlz4).
