how i cant close pop up ads when trying to watch a movie online

Im trying to watch a movie online with my kids that is a very old movie from my childhood. I send the page from my desktop and when i click on the video to play. another tab opens like normal like on my desktop. my problem is i cant close them and go back to the movie page like i would on my desktop. how do i fix this?
