When I click a link it gives me this option " tab saved in Firefox open now". How do I change this so that it automatically opens and goes to that tab/linked site?

Chosen solution

It sounds like tab queueing is enabled. This is a feature that prevents links from immediately opening in Firefox for Android when you tap them.

Could you test with that feature disabled to see whether the links open? This article will get you to that setting, where you can turn it off:

Open links in the background for later viewing with Firefox for Android
