Firefox has stored my user name and passport and they are filled in when I go to the site. Is that safe?
I agreed to have Firefox store/remember my user name and password on bank site. I did not realize that the user name and password would now be filled in automatically when I go to open that bank page. Have I made the bank site vulnerable? Is this the way Lockwise works?

Hi hobsondeg, Lockwise is Firefox's Password Manager, and it's normal that it auto-fills logins you've saved. Since it's a very sensitive site, it might be better not to auto-fill that one (you can delete the saved login).
You can set a Master Password so that Firefox doesn't fill any logins until you enter that. This authorization may last for your entire session, but after you exit out of Firefox and start it up again, Firefox should require the Master Password again.
More info:
- Edit or delete a login with the Firefox Password Manager
- Use a Primary Password to protect stored logins and passwords

There is a checkbox to enable/disable auto-fill in Options/Preferences.
