Keep receiving an error message "operation on 'folder name' did not succeed. The folder name applies to whatever folder I select.

The process completes in time however it slows down while error exists. I have attached a screen shot of a typical error window.

Do you have a security or AV program scanning the TB profile folder? If so, it's generally recommended to add the folder as an exclusion or exception, to avoid errors like the one you see.

If you're using Windows Defender, add the profile folder as an Exclusion in WD settings. The default location is:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\8characters.default

AppData is hidden by default.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have McAfee Total Protection and Malwarebytes both running in active scanning mode. I will make the suggested changes and update.
