Previously I had selected "Allow remote content in messages". I updated Thunderbird and after this update my messages doesn't display images. It appear a logo like a broken link. I tried using "Thunderbird Safe Mode" and still can't view images.

re :Previously I had selected "Allow remote content in messages".

A risky method to just allow all the remote content by default from anyone.

You mention 'previously', but is it still selected ? Menu icon > Options > Options > Privacy Is checkbox for : "Allow remote content in messages" selected ?

click on 'Exceptions' button Do you have anything in exceptions? If no, try adding the email address which sends you the newletter.

You posted an image of a newsletter. Is that newsletter in a 'Junk/spam' folder or in the 'Inbox' ? If it is in Junk/Spam folder, select email and click on 'Not Junk' and it should move back to Inbox.

Check the View - are you viewing the email in Simple or original HTML ? 'View' > Message Body as' > select 'Original HTML'

Thanks for your response Toad-Hall.

The checkbox for : "Allow remote content in messages" is selected .

I had the exceptions button turned on. Then added the email address which send me the newsletter to exceptions and still doesn't show the images.

The newsletter and other emails aren't in a 'Junk/spam' folder or in the 'Inbox' and I'm viewing all the emails in 'Original HTML'.

So, I don't know what happened after the update of Thunderbird because after that something is misconfigured but I can't find what is it.
