Steps to repeat ugly bug (arrived 5 days AFTER upgrade). Before today, it worked fine. Create email Click Send - nothing happens. Check - no mail sent. Rebooted, retried, same issue. Won't save to draft either.

The generic cut & paste KB doesn't help. It's NOT the password, SMTP, Windoze, Microsoft, Internet ISP or otehr possibilities - it's Thunderbird.

Now, no email system.

I'd add a image, but image of what. You guys know what the Tbird GUI looks like.

NOTE: No Add-ons, no recent Update (downgrade) I have several email accounts - real ones, not webmail. I can receive emails. I just cannot Send from any account now. I tried to reply to a email from outside. Send did nothing. No lockup, no nothing, Send just left the screen the way it was. I can type a reply, type a new message, in any account and Send does nothing.

How much and where do I pay Mozilla to unlock the send feature?

Start Windows in safe mode and see if you can send. If not, launch TB in safe mode (hold Shift when you start TB), while Windows is still in safe mode. State your smtp server settings. Indicate presence or not of VPN.
