How do I make the part of the window that does not contain my message larger?

I can adjust the text size in the message window using View->Zoom, great. But how do I make the other parts of the window bigger. I'm getting older and I need the listing of all of my email subjects, for example, and the vertical bar on the left that lists all my folders, etc. to be bigger, not just the message area itself. Thank you and sorry if this is a really basic question!

Install this add-on (for TB 60.9):

https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-us/thunderbird/addon/theme-font-size-changer-fixed/

Open Tools/Add-ons, type theme font fixed in the Search box, click Add to Thunderbird.
