Cannot uninstall Firefox Lockwise from Firefox 70.0b4 (64-bit)
Firefox beta 70.0b4 (64-bit). Today upon checking for a "saved login" in Logins & Passwords I noticed that the old style saved logins & passwords box had been replaced by Firefox Lockwise, which I do not recollect ever having installed it. Furthermore Firefox Lockwise is not listed in installed Add-ons, therefore I am unable to uninstall it. Any help on how to remove it is appreciated.
Chosen solution
The Firefox Lockwise Password Manager is a builtin component that opens via the about:logins page and can't be removed. This is different than the Lockwise extension that uses a Firefox Account.
The Password Manager that is currently selected is set via a pref on the about:config page.
- signon.management.overrideURI = about:logins (use Reset)
If you want the legacy Password Manager then you can modify this pref.
- signon.management.overrideURI = chrome://passwordmgr/content/passwordManager.xul

Thanks for your help
The chosen solution to return to the legacy password manager did not work using the modified signon.management in about:config. Any other work-arounds suggested. I do not like having to input my password each time I edit the password, also I cannot look at the passwords to see what I used before and the dates changed. Thanks
Hi Parental Units, Double click on the entry signon.management.overrideURI and press the backspace key, i.e. remove the entry, then press OK.
If you want to restore Lockwise, use the reset option in the context menu.
Worked like a charm. I prefer seeing the legacy PW's, as I can see what I used for previous PW's.
I'm glad I could help.
Does this also answer the other question that you posted in the Lockwise forum?
Yes, thanks
