All of a sudden, out of nowhere, this error message started. I have multiple accounts on Thunderbird, but it seems to only be impacting one yahoo.com account - although I have another one that seems to be working. Any thoughts?

Anything Yahoo is flakey. So I guess you have encountered yet another of yahoo's mysterious but unacknowledged failures.
Hey Matt, indeed, it's only the one Yahoo account, but it's an snet.net account - which Yahoo owns. Using Yahoo mail, that account is okay. Just through Thunderbird I'm having the problem. Thanx

Just a cross link to what appears to be the same problem with yahoo, both with non Yahoo addresses.
