terrible battery drainage on mac when using firefox

Posted

I am facing terrible battery drainage on Mac (MacOS 10.14.6 Mojave) when using Firefox....using last version v.69 but it was the same in the previous versions too. Any similar experience? solution to overcome this issue and to continue using my all -time favorite Firefox browser.

Right. Our devs are working really hard on this issue. You should be using ver. 70, which has the CoreAnimation compositor enabled and battery issue is gone.
