Why aren't my imported bookmarks from Chrome visible at top of browser?

It's clear from the screen shot of my library that I imported them correctly, but why don't they appear where they should?

It might be safer to use Copy/Paste instead of dragging/moving because these bookmarks might have a special annotation.

I think there are two issues there:

(1) The Bookmarks Toolbar isn't displayed below the main bar (2) The imported bookmarks are in a subfolder

For #1, you can right-click (or Ctrl+click) a blank area of the tabs bar and click Bookmarks Menu on the list to make it visible. See also: Bookmarks Toolbar - Display your favorite websites at the top of the Firefox window.

For #2, if you select all in the right side of the Library window (Organizer), for example, using Command+a, you can drag and drop them on Bookmarks Toolbar in the left column to promote them to the main level of the bar.

Many thanks. It worked like a dream.
