Can I install v66+ & keep my installed v56.0.2 (64-bit) on my PC at the same time?

I see that there are answers regarding v 67, but asking the question in the Support returns 3000+ unrelated answers.

The reason that I am asking here is that I want to keep my v56.0.2 (64-bit) functional while trying the most current version.

If the answer is yes, could someone direct me to an article that describes achieving this in the most functional way.
