Ad blocking used to be automatic, now when I visit various sites I get ads plastered all over, some of them flashing and very annoying.

I use Adblock. I have noticed that when I block a banner ad on my Yahoo homepage that, sometimes-more than sometimes, the ad will appear and I have to reload the page for the ad to be blocked. I never seem to have this problem with Chrome. Is this a FF or Adblock issue? Thanks
