Secure connection failed - Amazon Fire TV

So we’ve had a Fire tv for a while now with no problems whatsoever - until now. Whenever we try to open Firefox on the Fire TV, we get a error saying “Secure connection failed” followed by a white screen, if we are able to press the “try again” button. Has anyone had the same issues? We have tried the basics, uninstall the app and reinstalling, clearing cache etc.
