
double folders
Since 2 days al may folder and subfolder apear double, I removed my account and did set it up again but they stille reappear. The good folders are the dark ones and the grey ones are completely useles and empty. If i delete them and close thunderbird and restart thunderbird the are there again.
I tried windows 10 mail to check if its doing this in an other mail program but there it doesn't , please wat to do to get rid of these folders.

Unchecking 'Server supports folders that contain subfolders and messages' may work, or possibly switching the preference mail.imap.auto_unsubscribe_from_noselect_folders.

This did it thnx a lot.
Have tried everything to remove double and triple folders, i.e. sentmail,junkmail, message shows "MSfolder not removeable 74/82"????

Where is server support folders located? (sorry to sound stupid) 84 yrs old and still learning.
The second option http://kb.mozillazine.org/IMAP:_advanced_account_configuration#May_help_prevent_problems did the trick for me.
