It may seem like too easy a question but my mind is not as sharp as it used to be.

How does one change background colors? Is black with white print the default?

Chosen solution

In your firefox preferences, choose language and appearance, under font, check you have background set to white, and text set to black.

Hi Fred.

Thanks for your help but you are dealing with Major Dumb. I can't even find preferences.

Hello direfoxaddict,

What FredSheehan is talking about :

Click on the Firefox menu button ( = the three horizontal lines in the upper right corner, right under the closing X), then on 'Options', and then on 'General' - then follow Fred's instructions.

(under Language and Appearance => Fonts & Colors => Colors)

Thanks to you both, much appreciated.

I'm glad that worked for you  !

Would you be so kind as to remove the Chosen Solution mark from my post and mark Fred's post instead  ? After all : it was his idea .....

You can do so by clicking on the 'Undo' button to the right of that post and then mark Fred's.

Done, McCoy. Thanks again to you Fred.

Your very welcome!
