I used to get photos from Facebook on Thunderbird. Recently when I tried to block someone from Facebook I clicked on a box to delete but all it did was block all photo images on Thunderbird. How can I unblock photos on Thunderbird? I CAN view photos on Google on Facebook.

It is likely those images are blocked because they contain remote content. Good info here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/remote-content-in-messages

I went to tools/options/privacy/allow blocked content. Still all photos do NOT appear on posts from facebook. All photos are blank. In Goggle/ Facebok all photos DO appear. What could I have done that causes all photos from Facebook to be blank on Thunderbird?

In the Privacy settings, even with remote content allowed, make sure when you click the Exceptions... button, there isn't an entry to block facebook. Also, check that View/Message Body as is set to Original HTML. If the images still don't appear, check your mail account through webmail to see if the images are blocked by the mail provider.

Where do I find Exceptions/View/Message Body/Original HTML?

more options

Tools/Options/Privacy/Mail Content, click the Exceptions button.

View/Message Body As from the main window; press Alt if the Menu Bar is hidden.

When I click on the Privacy/Mail Contents and then Exceptions button, a window pops up titled: Remote Content, and below that is a window that asks for: Address of website (which I do not know). The Alt key does nothing.

Instructions for Exceptions are displayed in the window. If you don't see facebook in the list as 'blocked', then that isn't the problem.

If the Alt key doesn't work for you, click the 3-bar appmenu icon in the main window and select View.
