all inbox sub-folders vanished for no apparent reason

May have identified the reason - I was using a piggy-back drive, and somehow the drive letter (previously G:) seems to have become changed by circumstance (to H:).

For safety I have now moved the data files to the C: drive and updated the local directory settings - works ok - all now recovered seemingly without loss!
