I used to be able to use both up and down arrow keys to scroll through folders when moving a message from inbox to a folder. Now, after upgrade to 60.3.0 on MacOS, I can no longer us the up arrow, only down arrow works. I tried an external keyboard and same behavior exists.

It works fine for me. I'm using Mac OS Mojave 10.14.1.

Try this

  • Thunderbird Preferences > Advanced > General
    • [x} check the Use Smooth Scrolling and Auto Scrolling.

Does problem stop if you do Help > Restart with addons disabled?

Problem persists with addons disabled. Thanks for the suggestion, tho.

I unchecked smooth scrolling and auto scrolling, restarted Tbird and viola! both up and down arrows now work for scrolling through folders when moving messages. Thanks!
