Spell Check does not work in Thunderbird 60.3.0
I have just upgraded to Thunderbird 60.3.0 and prior to this, I used to just right click in the middle of an email text and I could spell check the whole fields of text easily, with all errors highlighted at once. Now I find this option is greyed out for both new messages and replies. This used to be a really useful tool (and I would have thought pretty fundamental) and I don't understand why it would stop functioning on this new version?

Which dictionary do you have? Often, a simple tweak to the dictionary add-on installer is sufficient to make it work in TB 60.

Do you have a dictionary installed?
Right click in the body of the email you are writing and select languages
That's fixed it. The dictionary I had installed had been rendered incompatible with the update so I got a new one. Thanks!
what dictionary? Special attempts were make to make dictionaries compatible with V60 so which failed?

Hello! Actually, it is not a reply but a question. My mailer was also upgraded to version 60.3 recently, and I found that an Estonian spell-checker ceased to work. In the Dictionaries sections of Add-ons it is indicated as incompatible with Thunderbird 60.3. I cannot find a compatible Estonian spell-checker on addons.thunderbird.net. Does it exist?
Thanks, it works.
