There used to be a checkbox on the bookmark properties window: load this bookmark in the sidebar. What happened to it?

Version is 63.0

That checkbox was removed in Firefox 63.

Firefox still offers add-ons the ability to open links/bookmarks in the sidebar, but in a quick search, I didn't see one that does it.

Is this something you used frequently?

I searched a different way and found one:

Yes, I used it very extensively. The add-on will get me closer to where I was pre-63, so thanks.
