Grey padlock with yellow triangle and exclamation mark

studentt

I used airline website for booking a flight and I entered my personal information and after I finished the booking I noticed the grey padlock with yellow triangle and exclamation mark (I did not notice from the beginning).

Is there any danger that my personal information could be stolen? Is my connection interrupted or tracked? Is the problem in the website or my connection? I need the answer ASAP please

You can find information on the grey padlock with yellow (or orange) triangle in this support page: Mixed content blocking in Firefox, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/mixed-content-blocking-firefox

Thanks YD !!

But I still worried and doubtful , according to the support page you posted the sentence

"but they should not be able to steal your personal data from the site. "

is it confirmation that my personal information is safe ? Can you give me more information please ?

Thanks again

yes I forgot , can you give me any advise what to do now to protect my personal information ?

You can see in the Web Console what content (elements on the page) this mixed passive content this is about. Mixed passive content is usually images coming from an insecure HTTP connection. Such an insecure request can leak data, but in almost all cases your personal data isn't compromised (ads are usually in a frame that doesn't have access to the main page).

You can consider to enable Tracking Protection in normal mode. You only need to be aware that in some cases you need to be aware that Tracking Protection can block wanted (essential) content. If Tracking Protection is blocking content then you see a shield icon in the location bar. The Web Console also shows in this case what content is blocked when the shield icon is present.
