The dictionary does not work

Spell check as you type is enabled. Language box is greyed out. The English (GB) Language Pack is installed.

The spell check does nothing. It comes up with blanks if it is selected.

Oh how I wish TB was written for logical operation. Such a huge disappointment after having used Firefox for so many years.
