duplicating emails in special folder that has rule applied - Thunderbird 52.9.1

Using: Thunderbird 52.9.1 I have created a special folder for receipts in Thunderbird and there is a rule applied that states, if an email has the word invoice or receipt, it is to move it to this folder 'receipts'. Some of these emails are duplicating up to 7 times in the folder. Do you have any solutions for me to fix this? Thank you
