How can I exclude an email from a thread?

Threading is enabled but there are completely irrelevant mails in some threads [see picture for example.] Can I remove the specified -irrelevant- mail from a thread ?

Teach the person sending them that clicking reply and then deleting the old email body is not writing a new email. Often seen used by exceedingly highly paid folk who think they are to important to actually learn how to use their tools. CEO, Doctors, lawyers etc.

Clicking write and then addressing the email is writing a new email.
