my company logo is not showing in the html signature line and there is a yellow anchor symbol i cannot get rid of

have you tried saving the email to template or drafts and closing it and reopening it, or sending it to your address. I think your anchor is just that a HTML anchor and something that is not visible in any but editing mode.
