Why is it so hard to move a message from the inbox to another folder? there should be a Move to command
When i try to move a message so that i can retreive it later, I often have to try it several times. Frustrating.

right click on the message in the list. Select move to from the menu.
Ok one more. how do i delete all of the trash file at once///
Right click the trash folder and select Empty Trash.
You see a pattern? Right click is your friend when using Thunderbird.
If wanting to empty a folder that does not have the empty option when you right click it, click one message to select it. Then press control+a to select all. Press the Delete key or button of your choice.
