Why has Evernote shortcut disappeared from my Firefox browser?
I used to have Evernote as shortcut on my browser, but recently the appearance of my browser window has changed. There only seems to be one search panel, and the shortcut has disappeared.

Am I right assuming that you're talking about the icon of this add-on :
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/evernote-web-clipper/ ?
Do you still see the extension in the add-ons manager ? (type about:addons in the address bar and press Enter)
If the icon has disappeared from the toolbar, would you please go to :
3-bar menu (or Tools) => Customize
If the icon is there, you can drag it to wherever you want it ....
