A few things for you to check :

When you're on omegle.com's site, click on the 'i' in a circle, next to the padlock at the left side of the address bar. That will take you to 'Page Info'. Then click on the little black arrow on the dropdown and then on 'More Information'. Click on the 'Permissions' tab and scroll down to 'Use Microphone'. Here you uncheck 'Use Default' and check 'Allow'.

Next : Go to the 3-bar menu (or Tools) => Options => Privacy & Security Under 'Permissions' => Microphone

Next : Go to the 3-bar menu (or Tools) => Add-ons => Plugins and make sure that Shockwave Flash is set to 'Always Activate'.

Does that help  ?

If the above doesn't do the trick :

Reload the page : Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button or press 'Ctrl + F5' or press 'Ctrl + Shift + R'

Another thing to try :

Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies from websites that cause problems via the 3-bar menu (or Tools) : => Options / Preferences :

"Remove the Cookies" from websites that cause problems :

Options/Preferences => Privacy & Security => Cookies and Site Data => Manage Data

"Clear the Cache":

Options / Preferences => Privacy & Security => Cookies and Site Data => Clear Data => Cached Web Content : Clear

I missed that in your original post - sorry ....

You can disregard my first post, with the exception of my remark about Shockwave Flash : is it set to 'Always Activate'  ?

If that's not it, and my second post didn't change anything either, then I can only hope that someone else will come up with the proper answer for you.
