Hi filomena1353, From your wording, I get the impression that you think you are directly contacting developers or Thunderbird employees. You are not. This is a community support forum. The people that answer questions here are users just like you, volunteering their time.

Minimize to Tray is made by a third-party. It is an add-on not distributed with Thunderbird. I think the best way to get authors of Minimize to Tray to update their add-on is to contact them directly, however it doesn't look like they've updated it in years. The latest iteration is MinimizeToTray revived

Significant changes were made in version 60, therefore it will not automatically load an add-on unless it has been marked compatible by the author.

If you'd like to override that, you'll need to edit a hidden preference.

  1. Open the Options window, then go to Advanced > General, and click on Config Editor.
  2. Click I accept the risk!
  3. Search for the preference extensions.strictCompatibility
  4. Double-click on it, to set the value to False.
  5. Restart Thunderbird.

If you're not having any trouble using those add-ons in Thunderbird 60, remember to tell the authors!

You don't think developers might see this.

it is a 3rd party add-on.

IT SHOULD NOT BE, WAS THE POINT

Hi filomena1353, I'm sorry about the misunderstanding. I'll pass on your request to developers.

In the meantime, could you please read Mozilla Support rules and guidelines? I've had to edit out the personal attacks and profanity in your earlier posts, thanks.
