NO insert COMMAND TOOL AVAILABLE IN write MODE. WHY? VER 52.8.0 of Thunderbird

on the WRITE screen the option for the command INSET is not available...new win 10 computer..new download of thunderbird. all my other computers have that option. k2pfw

Chosen solution

The usual cause is someone composing in plain text instead of HTML. For a test hold the shift key while clicking on Write to open the composition window. Is Insert there now?

RIGHT...WORKED...THANK YOU. All other accounts had the HTML clicked. Somehow the PRIMARY ACCT was un-selected. thanks....jk
