How do I tell Firefox on macOS to use the system certificates?

Mike Kaply replied

I'm deploying an SSL certificate to lots of macOS computers. I have a script that installs it into the system keychain, and Safari and Chrome pick it up no problem. It doesn't pick it up in Firefox unless I manually install it in the browser (Privacy & Security/View Certificates/Import).

Is there a way for me to place a file or run a script so I can deploy the fix en masse?

We don't have that ability on Mac Firefox. I'm working to add certificate support to the policy manager which should help things.
