I generally choose to 'Clear Recent History' before closing Firefox, but I would like to not clear cookies for a certain website, but none of the available add ons that are supposed to do this is compatible with my version of Firefox, so what can I do here please?? Thanks in advance!!

You can't use Clear Recent History if you want to keep specific cookies. This is all or nothing. If you want to keep specific cookies then let the cookies expire when you close Firefox and create an "Allow" exception for cookies you want to keep. Make sure to specify the correct protocol in the exception (https:// or http://).

Hi this can be done in Firefox manually : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/delete-cookies-remove-info-websites-stored Click on a cookies and Remove Selected and repeat then click on Save Changes and the Cookie list will come up and Confirm

Thanks for the response, but perhaps I did not clarify my question properly.... I am asking if there was a means by which I could keep the cookies from a specific site, if I click Clear Recent History before closing the browser?? I did not want to have to manually clear all the cookies from each site one by one, which I already know how to do, but is troublesome, and wanted to know if there was a method of quarantining the cookies from a certain website when clearing all of the others using the clear history option provided with Firefox?? If there is no such option, I will accept this, but I was hopeful is all.

Thanks for the reply, and that is what I thought....
