Hey guys,

right now I am VERY frustrated about my firefox.... After several other problems in the past weeks (since switching from Win10 to Kubuntu 18.04) today kills it all.

It does not let me login to my google account anymore. After entering my login-email at accounts.google.com and pressing "Next" nothing happens at all! From the one day to the other I can not login anymore. WTF?

What I did so far:

  • Restart Firefox
  • Restart Firefox in Safe Mode
  • ctrl + R
  • strl + shift + R
  • Clear Data: Cookies + Site Data
  • Clear Data: Cached Web Content
  • Removed all Cookies
  • Backed up Profile Folder + firefox -P - new profile - copying contents of backed up profile into new profile
  • Disabled all Add-Ons (No Script, uBlock, and Decentraleyes)

Surprisingly I can login in private mode ....

WTF is happening here? Any idea how I can solve that S***?! Sorry for my rudeness, but I am experiencing so much trouble with Firefox in the last days/weeks that I am very close to switch browsers because of my anger... Nevertheless I would love to stick to mozilla team.

That was very good work. Well done. Please flag your last post as Solved Problem so others will know.

Sometimes the best thing to do it start from the beginning.

Hello FredMcD and thank you for your respond. While the reboot did help me with my google login problem, I am still experiencing different other problems. e.g. one website does not load at all, another does not load JS (yet with disabled add-ons) - both work in private mode.

What do you mean with "start from the beginning"?

To start over. As to your other problems, create a new question.
