I'm not using Private Browsing Mode,

Third Party Cookies are Blocked,

macOS 10.13.5,

Firefox for MmacOS 60.0.2,

Extensions - uMatrix, uBlock Origin, AutoDelete Cookies, HTTPS-Everywhere, Decentraleyes, 1Password, User Agent Switcher, Switch Container, Multi-Account Containers, Instapaper.

Problem: When trying to save a webpage to Instapaper (by clicking the Instapaper Addon) the Instapaper "Saving" banner will appear. Then the same webpage will open in a new Tab and new Container. The webpage will NOT save to Instapaper.

Please note I am signed into Instapaper in another Tab and Container.

Is there a way to resolve this issue so I can save Webpages o Instapaper?

Any help or suggestions are welcomed and appreciated.

Cookies are tied to a specific container, so if you would open a page/link in another container then this tab doesn't know about tabs in another container and cookies from another container won't be send. Yoiu need to make sure to use the same container for all requests to that website.

I resolved the issue with an Addd-on called "Switch Container", I switch the webpage I want to save to the same container as Instapaper is signed into then press the Instapaper Add-on button and it saves the webpage to Instapaper :-)

Hi, please try this and if have no problems it is your Extensions : SAFE MODE

In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:

  • all extensions are disabled (about:addons)
  • default theme is used (no persona)
  • userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored (chrome folder)
  • default toolbar layout is used (file: localstore-safe.rdf)
  • Javascript JIT compilers are disabled (prefs: javascript.options.*jit)
  • hardware acceleration is disabled (Options > Advanced > General)
  • plugins are not affected
  • preferences are not affected

TEST''''is issue still there ?

I thought that might be the case. The problem is if I use the same container for all websites so I can save them to Instpaper then there is no use using the Multi-Account Containers Add-on. So I will just delete the Instapaper Add-on and manually add the links to Instapaper.
