mailaccounts disappeared

I use several accounts in thunderbird and this morning i started up and everything was gone. As if i just was a new user and had to make a new account. Can i get back al my mails from the different accounts??

Thanks Zenos i replaced prefs.js with a copy from mozbackup (thank god i had an old one) My accounts are back.!!
